Michiel van Eijk earned a MSc in animal sciences from Wageningen Agricultural University and a PhD in animal sciences from the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign. After working at the Hubrecht Laboratory, Netherlands Institute for Developmental Biology, and at the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital, Van Eijk joined KeyGene, where he served in various R&D and IP management roles, most recently that of Chief Scientific Officer. Van Eijk is a board member of HollandBIO, the Dutch biotech industry association.
