In order to accelerate the breeding program in the crop of interest, Genetwister can aid in the design of a custom-made genotyping array. By taking into account traits and sequences that are important to the specific plant species, we make sure that the array design is completely tailored to your needs and interests. Using only the highest quality markers from our marker discovery pipeline, we aim to select the most specific and meaningful markers, whilst retaining a full genome coverage. The fully customizable nature of the selection procedure also allows for the inclusion of markers that discriminate a single or a group of varieties.

The resulting high-quality genotyping data can be used for further analysis, e.g. genome-wide marker-trait associations and linkage mapping of any species, irrespective of genome size and ploidy level.
